What you need to do

Keeping things as simple as possible at a difficult time

Step 1- Bringing your loved one in to our care

If someone has died and it was expected, such as at home after illness or in a nursing home you will be able to call us on 01843 663 206 (24hrs) to arrange us to bring your loved one in to our care. Please note a doctor or nurse will have to verify before we can transfer someone in to our care. Our mortuary facilities are located in Broadstairs at the same site as our our main office.

Step 2- Necessary paperwork

You will need to speak with the GP or hospital in the days after the passing to obtain the required Certificate in order to register, once the GP or Hospital has issued this you can then book an appointment with the registrar. â€‹

The registrar will then email us the paperwork we need (our email is: office@kentdirectcremations.co.uk)

Step 3- Cremation is carried out

Finally we will call to confirm the booking is made and take payment, once paid we will carry out the cremation.

Step 4- Ashes are returned to you

Following the cremation we will call to you let you know your loved ones ashes are ready to be hand delivered to you.
